-When not anchoring or reporting, keeping an up-to-date blog for WGN TV's "Chicago's Best" blogsite.
-Staying on top of her sports teams/players/coaches, making sure she doesn't miss a "big story".
-Staying knowledgeable about each sports team-- making sure not to jeopardize hers or her employers (In the most current case, ESPN) ethos by lacking credibility in her writing/reporting.
